Filmed video or animation? Choosing the right way to explain an idea
The first question is not which technique is fashionable, but what the viewer needs to understand or feel.

When filming helps
When the value lies in a person, place or testimonial, live action brings presence and context. An interview can reveal nuances that graphics alone may struggle to convey.
When animation helps
Animation offers control when you need to explain an invisible process, organize complex information or show a product that does not yet exist. It can also keep a series visually consistent.
Combining techniques
The best solution is often mixed: a person introduces an idea and graphics clarify it, or a filmed scene leads into an animated process. Decide this during scripting, before production, to avoid unnecessary work.
Making the decision
Define the objective, audience, duration and available material before comparing approaches. The right technique makes the message clearer and more memorable within the project's scope.
